Fergus Falls brothers Dave and Nate Jensen are in a close race for the top spot in the Fergus Falls Area Race Series. Elder brother Dave leads Nate by 34.88 points after two races. Mitchell Wellman and Corey Nygaard are close behind with Sam Petersen rounding out the top 5.
The women's leaderboard is a dead heat, with Debbie Wellman and Amanda Wach of Fergus Falls and Dalton, respectively, separated by 1.05 points, 213.40 to 212.35. Renae Sell-Lindgren is at their heels with a score of 191.47.
The next series event is the Running Wild Trail Run, a challenging 7k run through Maplewood State Park on June 14. If you haven't participated in a series event yet, this is your last chance to get in the series in order to meet the four race minimum!
