Like it always does, the Hoot Lake Triathlon served its purpose as a mid-season shake up of the series standings. After back-to-back first place, course record setting performances, women's series leader Jaci Wilson sat this one out, which allowed heel-nippers Jess Knutson and JoEllen Kohlman-Petrick to score some unanswered points and jump ahead of Wilson in the standings. With two races remaining and bonus points on the line, it will be a fun season to watch unfold.
On the men's side, the dynamic duo of #runalways, Jake Greenstein and Daniel Velasco, teamed up again to win the male division, splitting the point total but still remaining on top of the standings. We hope they continue their partnering ways at the Central Lakes Cycle Duathlon.
